This is a stunning, rare. Four-paneled silver bracelet made in the mid to late 1800’s. There are four panels, each separated by an unbelievably. From research it seems this is sterling silver, but not tested. Each hinged panel appears to be hand-etched then colorfully painted. Each panel is hinged and slightly curved to fit snugly on the arm. But the stars of this beautiful piece are the hand-carved panels of gorgeous landscapes with trees, mountains, and dwellings. Each carving is unique, and the ink/paint is vivid and in excellent condition. The clasp slides to pull apart and is connected by a small chain, so that it does not fall off the wrist when taking it off. One hinge is soldered but still works properly, and another is disconnected at the top of a hinge but also still bends.
