This is an antique Japanese signed scroll from the late Meiji Era c. It is titled Mastu Koi, the subject mater is of a large Koi fish and pine tree. It is in early printed form with artist signature, San Cho Yama. This is a fine example of nature depicted in Japanese scroll painting. This had silk cloth and brocade work as seen in pictures 3 and 6. This scroll is 58″ long by 25 3/4″ wide (147 x 65.5 cm) with the artwork being 19 3/4″ long by 18″ wide (50 x 46 cm).
