A highly important antique Arita ware bowl. The bowl with a six-lobed moulded rim, exquisite milky-white “Nigoshide” glazed body, brown rim. Edo Period c 1680. Height: 4,6 cm 1,8 inch. Diameter: 14,1 cm 5,6 inch. Condition: no chips, no repair, a fine hairline crack, some wear to the glaze of the inside rim, see pictures. I acquired this piece in the late 1990s in a Tokyo, Roppongi Hills, Antiques Shop.
