Many many years ago I had an impressive collection of Netsuke, though, and his was in display with those. Long since gone, I still have just a few odds and ends. It’s entirely hand painted, and is terrifically appealing. The surface is rich, raised, engaging, and the condition is very good, as well. Time for it to go. Maybe a bargain for my ignorance, but better in your appreciative hands than a crate in my warehouse, right? Very good condition, no breaks or restorations in the body or lid, functionally. There are a couple of very small flaws: the lower jaw of the dragon on top of the lid has broken away, as have any long horns he might have had. The only other thing I think might be a tiny flaw is the very pointy tips of the dragon spout’s horns, one of which is slightly blunted to the touch. The faces and patterning that decorates it are fabulous! Tried to get photos that can show it off. For me, just a pretty thing. I was told it was turn of the century when I bought it c. I’m passing it along at my cost. Measurements appear directly on the photos. We’re easy to deal with. You are very important! Our fine inventory is very important.
