A rare, original Antique, Japanese Teapot. Beautifully hand painted It is signed and also has the old Dai Nippon mark on the right which dates this piece to the Meiji Period. It is beautifully hand painted. There are a few very fleabites as you can see in the photos and two firing lines under the lid inside the teapot. Please see photo for condition. It measures 7 1/2 tall to the top of the handle. It is 4 3/4″ to the top of the lid knob x 5 3/4″ x 3 1/2. This piece is beautifully hand painted with elements of moriage on the ends where the handle and spout are. Please note that the interior edge is not chipped it is the original decorative edge.
