I believe this dates from around 1950 and it’s made by Tetsudo Mokeisha, probably. The wheels fit fine on 1/87 HO gauge track but the bodies are oversized. Something like 1/76 or 1/80 scale? No original box included. Models are complete and all original except the motor is a replacement. The motor showed signs of life while bench testing but the mechanism didn’t run. On track it does not respond at all. I think it’s mainly a wiring issue. Might be factory painted. Has had some repairs. The last picture shows a size comparison between this and another handbuilt Tetsudo Cab Forward. You can see this one has bodies that are longer and wider. But again the wheel spacing is the same as any other 1:87 HO model. The bodies remind me of OO scale models. I just noticed the trucks on the loco might have the insulated wheels on the wrong side. Could be another reason it doesn’t run. I think the tender wheels are right.
