












Japanese scroll of a Daruma, a Buddhist monk who started Zen. It’s drawn on paper with a silk border. The solid paulownia wood storage box comes with it. One end has a broken slat. The scrolls weighted ends are ox bone. This was painted by the artist with sumi ink and a brush. There is no room for mistakes using sumi ink. Only the skill of the artist.
