This is a magnificent monumental mid century painting which features the most beautiful design of two Japanese Geisha under a large umbrella. This entire mid century work of art was made by well known listed artist Lipsone. He worked mainly with thick Lucite plastics, and this entire painting is hand engraved on thick lucite, and hand painted. The frame is made of thick lucite and this is mounted on a wooden back board. Lovely Work Painted Silver Frame. I know almost nothing (zip – nada) about Asian artwork but these have a lovely look and I hope someone out there can help to discover the artist, age and/or country… And thanks so much in advance!!!! Someone told me that it looks to be Japanese…. In Good Condition has light overall toning, linen or silk mat has subtle ripples but has not been examined out of frame.
