This set comprises a teapot (which was damaged), 5 teacups, 5 saucers, 6 side plates, a milk jug or creamer and a lidded sugar pot. Old Japanese tea set hand painted Moriage (3D shape) dragons. You can see and feel the raised dragons and paintings when you touch over the pattern. Eggshell teacups made of very fine, delicate bone china which is very transparent, almost feels like glass. If you hold the cup towards the light the geisha stamp will appear like a painted portrait inside of each teacup. The set In great condition for the age. Has some signs of wear, paint loss and fade on the gold trim but no cracks. The large teapot spout has been repaired, so it will be recommended to use for decorative purpose.
