Antique Japanese Hand Painted Ceramic Imari Flower Vase Chrysanthemum ^

This is an antique Japanese late Taisho Era c. 1920 hand thrown ceramic imari flower vase. It has a hand painted design of chrythanstmum flowers (kiku) in multi color (akaimari). There are two raised chrysanthemum design in white (see pictures 6 & 11). The vase is made of a high fire ceramic for lasting durability. Having been in storage for almost 100 years, it remain in very fine condition. The vase measures 7″ in diameter at its widest by 12″ tall (17.8 x 30.5 cm). This is an antique Japanese Meiji Era c. 1895 imari ceramic plate shaped as a fish and all hand painted. Japanese late Meiji Era c. 1890 ceramic imari lamp with Chinese style Dragon. It has a hand painted design of peony flowers of various colors, other flower, leaves and decorations. The Dragon is raised from the surface as if coiled around the lamp. (see pictures 7, 8 and 9 for all angles). The lamp is made of a high fire ceramic for lasting durability. Having been in storage for over 100 years, the ceramic lamp remains in fine condition. Please note that the wooden base has a split and could use some repair (the listed price was adjusted with this in mind). The ceramic lamp alone measures 6″ in diameter at its widest by 12″ tall (15 x 30.5 cm). With the base, light socket and lamp shade holder it measures 27 tall. This is a listing for just one of the two lamps shown in the last two pictures. There is a second matching lamp available.
