A Lovely Vintage Japanese painted and Laquered panel. Unsure of exact age. The black painted panel is decorated with with a long tailed bird sat on the stem of a lotus leaf with lotus flower. The bird beautifully painted in blue, yellow and gold, the lotus flower in tones of Yellow and orange surrounded by a rich green foliage and highlighted with gilt lines. Topped with a clear laquer. In lovely clean condition & will look stunning in any environment. It measures approximately 60.5cm length x 40.5cm across. The panel is approximately 2cm thick.
