There are minor foxing, very minor stains, and very minor cracks. Born on April 1, 1859 in Ansei 6. Trained under Tairyu Bun’i and Ogino Dokuon. In 1894, he became the abbot of Manjuji Temple in Oita. In the following year, he succeeded Dokuon’s Dharma and became the first head priest of the Rinzai sect of Buddhism and the head priest of the Hokoji school.
