Top – a pair of pheasants, Middle – three grouse, Bottom – and a pair of ducks, each in their respective landscape, the sky, clouds and areas of the landscape picked out in gold paint. Painted in coloured pigment and gold, all three painted by the same unknown Tosa School artist, with a partial signature (unidentified) seen to the back of one. Fan: 51 cm x 19.5 cm or 20 inches x 7 3/4 inches. In good antique condition. As expected, some surface wear seen to the gold, and some watermarks seen, all commensurate with substantial age.
