Antique Japanese Hand Painted Satsuma Jar Vase Meji Period Figures in Vibrant Kimono. Antique Japanese Satsuma pottery hand painted porcelain vase, Meiji period. An off-white ground with hand painted images of a gathering of women figures in traditional colorful kimono underneath trees, large sunflowers and red maple leaves. Fine gilded details throughout. Measures 7.25 inch height. Width is 6.5 inch. Very good condition with no damage. It does have crazing typical of Satsuma pottery and very light wear to the gilding in a few spots.
