In the Kansei period, he began to draw portraits of actors, and his most famous work was “Portraits of Actors on the Stage (Yakusha Butai no Sugatae)” (1794-96), in which he flamboyantly depicted the beauty of the actors. In the Bunka period (1794-96), his Utagawa-style portraits of actors and paintings of beautiful women became popular with the public. He had dozens of disciples, including??
