This is an early Showa c. 1930’s antique Japanese signed scroll with a hand painted design of Japanese. It is signed by the Japanese artist, Shousen (see picture 6). This scroll is approximately 68 1/2″ long by 21″ wide (174 x 53 cm). The actual artwork is 41″ high by 16″ wide (104 x 40.5 cm). Having been rolled up and stored for over 90 years, it remains in very good condition. Ll love it, I guarantee it.
