Meiji Era Japanese Watercolor Paintings Black & White Framed Antique Pair
A Pair of Meiji-Era Japanese Watercolor Paintings. Small but breathtakingly beautiful, these watercolor paintings feature a picturesque mountainside landscape and villa. Perhaps most stunning of these bookmark-sized paintings is the gradient of shading, which takes an exceptional level of difficulty to create. Both pieces are behind antique glass and back matted on black and white paper. The white paper features light brown speckling to enhance the texture. The frame is a pencil-thin black matte wood and is ready to hang. These prints are in EXCELLENT condition. The frames have light to moderate surface wear, bot both are ready to hang and display. One piece seems to have two creases at the bottom which might be inherent to the design of the piece. Frame dimensions: 5 in x 12.5 in (14 cm x 32 cm) Artwork dimensions: 2 in x 7 in (5 cm x 18 cm). Your item will come from a pet and smoke-free home. If you are not satisfied, please let me know and allow me the opportunity to make it right.
