Early Meiji Imari Porcelain Hand Painted Large Square Tray Platter. X 2 h, 2nd-3. Unusual square shape with scalloped edge. Basket of flowers hand painted in characteristic under-glaze blue & over-glaze orange-red & gilt. Blue under-glaze pair of books motifs on underside of rim.
