Antique Japanese 17th Century Kiyohara Yukinobu Signed Set of 3 Scroll Paintings

This is a nice antique Japanese 17th century Kiyohara Yukinobu signed set of 3 scroll paintings. They have a custom box for the paintings as well that is included. All 3 are in pretty nice shape as the pics show with some minor wear from their age. All 3 are signed with the same signature seen in pic 5. The box has various writing on it throughout, including on top of the box seen in pic 7, on the interior lid seen in pic 10 and on the underside of the box seen in pic 11. They all measure approximately 68″ tall, the paper is 18″ wide with the rolling section being 20 wide. The sight of the images are 13 1/2″ x 34 1/2″. Kiyohara Yukinobu was one of the rare women painters affiliated with the Kano school who achieved recognition in her day. Her father was the artist Kusumi Morikage c. Morikage was one of Tan’yu’s most outstanding pupils. Yukinobu lived in Kyoto for most of her life and married another Tan’yu pupil named Kiyohara Hirano Morikiyo. That Yukinobu, her mother, and grandmother were all married to Tan’yu’s pupils is evidence of the strong familial bonds characteristic of the Kano school. Yukinobu’s thematic range was diverse.
