Antique Japanese Seto Celadon Glaze Porcelain Meiji Period Ginger Jar. Beautiful raised hand painted floral and leaf design with gold accents. Molded Foo Dog finial lid with bluebird. It is marked with red Japanese signature mark which means “Seto Tsukuba” or Seto Made. Early 20th century – late Meiji period. This jar is in excellent condition. No chips or cracks. There are some imperfections in the glaze from original production and some wear to the gold detail. Please review all pictures. Measures approximately 7 1/2″ to top of lid and 4 1/2″ at widest.
