For your consideration is this Antique Japanese Ukiyo-e Silk Woodblock Roses Painting. This painting is beautiful and features a spray of roses. It was likely framed during the 1900’s – 1920’s judging from the materials present as part of the framing process. If you are a Japanese art enthusiast or know of someone who is, this color block painting would be a very nice addition to the collection. The painting is in very good condition, except for areas that may need cleaning, but please do allow for this normal wear on all antique resale items. I was not able to translate the writing, but the painting was not made for export, and was likely bought in Japan and transported to America by a private individual.
