The painting is in good overall condition and is mounted in a linen surround, with non-reflective glass in a gilded faux bamboo frame. The painting has been reframed, however the original back board bears the framers label. The mounting board looks to be Circ. However this would need more investigation. Antique Japanese Painting on Silk. Of a man well dressed in a kimono. There are normal signs of age. The paint has cracking and discoloration. There are some dark speckles here and there.
